Coming Home to Myself

Getting to where I am today didn’t happen all at once—it was more like tiny breadcrumbs leading me home to myself. Launching Bloom with Violet feels like one of those full-circle moments. It didn’t happen overnight (and definitely not on schedule!), but it’s happening now, and it feels just right.

For me, everything started shifting when I began paying more attention to how I feel. Not in a dramatic way—just in the small moments: stretching in the morning, sipping my warm lemon water, feeling the grass under my feet. Those grounding moments became little anchors in my day. I’m not always in the mood (who is?), but I do them because they remind me who I am.

My rituals aren’t fancy or perfect. Some days I meditate, some days I just breathe and look around. I try to check in with myself at night too, writing a few lines in my journal or just thinking about how the day made me feel. It’s not always easy, but it’s become something I genuinely love.

One night while reading, I came across the phrase: “make your mind a beautiful place to be.” I paused, smiled, and realized—I actually enjoy spending time in my own mind now. That felt big.

It made me think about how this slower, more intentional way of living is what led me here. I used to rush everything (NYC energy), but now I find peace in the pauses—whether I’m walking, showering, or cooking. And somewhere along the way, I felt this pull to help others feel that too.

This blog is my way of opening that door. Sharing, connecting, and reminding each other that tuning in to yourself might just be the most beautiful place to begin.
